We measured how much validity is left in every verified voucher code in our database — how soon they lapse, and which categories run the shortest deals — as of September 2026.

Based on the 366 live, verified codes that carry a stated expiry date at the time of writing. Half have 78 days or less of validity left; a minority of retailers set expiry dates far in the future, which lifts the average to 482 days, so we lead with the more representative median. A further 169 live codes carry no fixed end date and are reported separately.

Which Categories Run the Shortest Deals
Median days of validity left, shortest first. Categories with fewer than five dated codes are excluded, and we use the median so a handful of far-future expiry dates can’t skew the ranking.

Methodology
Every figure on this page is computed from our live voucher database — the same set of codes shown across the site — filtered to those marked verified and not yet expired, as of September 2026. Nothing is modelled, estimated or seeded.
We measure the days remaining until each code expires, not the total length it was originally issued for: a snapshot records when a code ends but not when the retailer first launched it, so a total lifespan would require assuming a start date we do not hold. Codes with no stated expiry date are counted as open-ended and excluded from the averages. Figures change as codes are added, verified and expire, so please note the access date if you cite them.
